A program of On The Move, The Napa Fire Recovery Center offers bilingual/bicultural long-term Disaster Case Management and operates a co-located resource center, collaborating with other nonprofits to support Napa County residents in addressing disaster recovery needs created by the 2017 Napa Fire Complex.

What is Disaster Case Management?

  • Offers support in navigating the multiple resources available in recovery. Available to assist in applying for different forms of assistance.

  • Refers and connects participants to resources depending on the participants needs. Referrals and assistance include: housing referrals, mental health, employment support and financial management to individuals and families affected by the 2017 Napa Fire Complex.

  • Supports and advocates for participants when engaging with local, state, and government agencies.

  • Provides a safe and supportive environment in which participants may share their experiences during the recovery process.

  • Identifies a disaster recovery plan with participant and works alongside participant in reaching their recovery goals.


  • Available for households who have lost their homes or rental units and are in the process of recovering from the 2017 Napa Fire Complex.

  • Participants of all income levels are welcome

  • Prioritization for participants with disabilities, older adults, veterans, single parent families, and low-income status will be made.

  • Copy of your ID

  • Copy of your Insurance declaration letter (if applicable)

  • Copy of any FEMA / SBA letters

  • Pictures of burned property
